Please note that the term “Blue Portal” refers to the Legacy Admin portal accessible under /opencell URL.
Use it only if the feature you seek hasn't been ported to Portal yet. Legacy Admin is not maintained anymore, features can be missing, obsolete or broken.
API based
When it comes to APIs, we are our first customer as while our legacy admin GUI was directly built into the core, the portal uses only APIs.
As a result, everything you can do in the portal can be done using APIs.
