Change consumer in a subscription
This feature allows you to manually change the consumer (user account) to which the subscription belongs.
By doing so, subscription will be moved under a new consumer.
Several options are possible to to decide the fate of rated transactions generated by the subscription:
No action
Rated transaction are not moved and stay linked the initial user accountMove with subscription
Open rated transactions will be moved to the new user accountMove and rerate
Open rated transactions will be moved to the new user account, and marked to rerate.
Rerating will actually be performed by the rerating jobs (scheduled or launched manually).Fail on open rated transaction
If there’s even a single open rated transaction, the move will fail.
No change will be applied to subscription or rated transactions.Fail on draft invoice
Move will fail if subscription has rated transactions on a DRAFT (or other “open” status) invoice.
No change will be applied to subscription or rated transactions.Fail on draft invoice or open rated transaction
Move will fail if subscription has rated transactions on a DRAFT (or other “open” status) invoice, or if subscription has open rated transactions.
No change will be applied to subscription or rated transactions.
Once the modification is validated, value in field “consumer” is changed and your subscription is now related to the new consumer.
Note that you cannot move subscription with status TERMINATED.
