Counters

First, what are counters?

Counters are a feature that allows to… count things.

They are used in the rating process and come in two flavors:

• Bucket counters (aka. Counters) are decremented from an initial value, and are mostly used to implement telecom-like usage buckets

• Accumulator counters (aka. Accumulators) that simply accumulate some values (amount, quantity, …)

You can attach counters to almost the whole hierarchy in Opencell. However, in the 360° view are only listed counters from Billing Account.

As you can see above, counters are listed in a simple view list with a single filter to filter on counter code.
